Question #1:

Why do country music artists always seem to bash city people?

It seems that if they're not singing about God or getting married to their high school prom queens and raising big families, then it's how us city folks are so incompetent. Not that there's anything wrong with the first two...but that last one...give me a break. Like "Country Man" from Luke Bryan: "A City boy can't do the things I can". Do most country people have that attitude towards city folks? Are you sure that city people can't can't grow superb crops, hunt and fish like Daniel Boone, or tear across the land like John Wayne on horse back? I admit...there's not a whole lot of room in the MIDDLE of a city to do that, but I for one only have to travel an hour in any direction and then I'm pretty comfy in the sticks. I have a cinder block smokehouse in the back yard, and I'll challenge anyone from the country to make better venison jerky than I can.

I know, city people sometimes bash country people for being ignorant, simple rednecks, but I don't believe any of that is necessarily true either. One of my friends is an airline pilot and he's a total redneck...but a smart one! Has a horse ranch, and on the side he makes hand crafted leather flight bags, which I've already bought two of.

Just an honest question... not trying to start a war or anything.

Okay so I saw this company a while back and it made me think.
They only sell recycled leather, never new leather.
Basically they take old leather bags that people thrown away and make them into furniture or jackets or bags.
Would you support this company?


I like the idea that their reusing instead of killing. I think I would.

how much is too much for a handbag?

I've been in the market for a new bag lately.... I'm making a lot of money this summer so I want to get myself something nice, probably all leather. The ones I've been looking at are very classic and chic and I should be able to carry them for years, but I'm still wondering

How much is TOO much to spend on a bag? If you've spent more than $100 or $200 on a bag, have you regreted it?

Which color backpack should I get?? (bonus question)?

I really need a new backpack for school this year. I'm going to be a freshman, and I haven't gotten a new backpack since 6th grade. I Have a regular brown jansport backpack. Click Here it's in fairly good condition because at my middle school we couldn't carry our bags around so it stayed in my locker all day. but next year we will be carrying the bags around school. out of mostly all the backpacks I've had, the bottom is the first to go. I always got holes on the bottom of my backpack, so I'm going with the "right pack" from jansport with the leather on the bottom. (I once had a pack like that)

there are nine different colors on the jansport website. but there are also 2 other colors that are discontinued (but can still be bought on other websites.)

Black- I don't want the black one because black isn't my color.
Light blue- no. I have found that the light colors show dirt easier
Pink- no. shows dirt.
navy- I like it, but it's a little boring
brown-no. I just had a brown one.
red- eh. I was going to say no... but I sort of like it.
Amazon teal- I like this one too, I guess.
green- too bright
purple- I like this one too, but I'm afraid it will be too bright. I'm not one to go for brightly colored backpacks.

the two ones that are no longer sold on jansport's site are sage green and the copper brown.
I really love the copper brown, I used my cousin's old copper brown bag, and it reminds me of my childhood. BUT it's also the bag bella uses in twilight. I think twilight is ok, but I really don't want people to say "oh, you have the same bag as bella!!!! coo!" or "wow, you're such a copier." I can handle the comments, but I just really don't want to get into it.

and sage green, I like a lot. but I don't really know the what the color really looks like and don't want to risk it.

Does this bag look ok for school?

It's a cross-body bag made of leather and it's slightly distressed. It's already got my binder/notebooks and stuff inside in this picture. Does it look ok? Or is it kind of ugly? (sorry if the picture is kind of dark)

I'm starting high school in one month and I want to make a good first impression.
So which of the following outfits do you think would work? Any other tip would be great :)

If not, what kind of surface can i put the ink on, i've got plastic, leather and a sorta cloth one (but i like the leather one the most, that's why i wanna get it painted)

why is my skin so wierd, i never tan!!?

and not only do i never tan, i also never get sunburns...
in the past year and a half I have only gotten one sunburn (that wasn't even that bad.) when i was using a retinoid cream for my acne, which makes skin especially succeptible to burning and irritation. i had actually been using that cream for two months, but i only got burnt that one day because i was at the beach for a good 7 hours...4 of which were spent walking along the waterfront (which is why most of the burn was contained to one side of my face, lol) i am very pasty and am the palest person i know. my skin literally looks white...lol

i am an avid walker and often go for 2/3 hour walks, i even 5 hour walks as well as time in the park fairly often yet my skin stays pasty PASTY white. it doesn't make sense my skin i highly sensitive and should burn (not that i want it to lol.) when i was younger i did burn and always got a slight tan as well as a deep tan on my feet lol. i only burnt though when i was out for more than like three hours. also, while i have had very red sunburns they always faded very quickly and i've never had blistery peeling skin.

i should point out that i went tanning at a salon today and have a light tan...i did used a UVA bed (don't yell at me for tanning, i'm 20 and can do what i want thankyouverymuch. and i know, i know a 26 year old died from melanoma thanks to tanning and i also know i'll regret it when i'm older and resemble a very worn out leather bag AND i know i'll also regret it when i am dying. unfortunately society is vain.)

sorry this was kind of a lot, lol...i didnt want to leave anything out though. does anyone know why i'm like this?! as i've said it doesn't make sense :/ pale people usually burn like crazy.

How do you stand out in high school?

I'm going to be a junior in September and I want to stand out from the people in my school. Especially with clothing. The girls dress like they're in college. When I mean is that they carry leather bags, wear a lot floral skirts, basic colors, Polo (Ralph Lauren), sometimes Marc Jacobs, sometimes Burberry, moccasins, etc. The guys wear a lot Polo, Nike sneakers, G-Shocks (both boys and girls),etc. Almost every person at my high school has a Blackberry and it's so annoying. Not that many people have an iPhone. There are a few stand-outs. A few. I was thinking I should wear combat boots, lace tights, fingerless gloves, pearls, poofy skirts, things with studs on it like shirts or boots, blazers, etc. So, I need some more advice so I could stand out this year and break the mold at school. Thanks.

I really need to find a large bag. Preferably something like the "stripe bowling bag" from River Island - big, stylish or preppy, a shoulder strap/across body strap and enough pockets - aswell as good quality. NOT PRIMARK! Here's the catch - it needs to be less than £20.00! I am 14, I can't afford anything more expensive.
