With the purchase of my new car, I've been OBSESSED with getting the perfect air freshener. It would seem like an easy task, but because I have leather, sprays are not an option. And I've looked at many different kinds that are designed for cars and most of them are either offensive or are just way too strong. Currently, I have an air freshener from Bath and Body Works in there, but it's kind of faint and unnoticeable.
Anyway, recently my mom mentioned that I could try to make my own air freshener by way of a sachet. For those of you who don't know what a sachet is, its just those little bags of potpourri or essential oils with fiber fill that you put in drawers, luggage, etc. What I would like to know, is if instead of potpourri or essential oil with fiber fill, could I use crushed pieces of an old candle? I am IN LOVE with a Glade 2 in 1 candle that only comes out around Christmastime and would make that my car scent in a heartbeat if I didn't have to light a candle inside my car (the dangers of that are just common sense). So, back to my question.
Could I used crushed pieces of my candle as the filler for my sachet, or would this cause problems/not work effectively?

Right, so the carry on luggage rules with EasyJet say that the bag must be "56x45x25cm".
The bag I've got right now measures at 51x25x28cm, or thereabouts, but is made of leather, and can be squished around a bit.
Will these measurements be okay? Do EasyJet let you compress the bag to fit in the compartment?

Southwest says "maximum size is 62 inches (length + width + height)". This is different then what I was taught(I was told to multiply to I am unsure)
I know TSA is hand swabbing now(I am not to happy with the idea). What are they testing for? I was spray tanned for a pageant back on the 4th and I am still flaking off on both my arms and some of my legs Will this or any hand lotion set it off? I use Bath & Body Works(Either Mandarin Orange, Eucalyptus Spearmint, or Sweat Pea will be used that day). What about Aveeno's Daily Moisturizing Lotion? What if I smell like my guinea pig(I certainly hope I don't!)?
What is the best way to NOT tick off TSO's. The one's at my local airport can be really rude and mean. No matter how nice I act(Greet with a smile, say good morning, have a nice day ETC). I have Bi-Polar disorder and it really dosen't take much to tick me off. Even though I am medicated and in therapy. Only my mom really knows how to best deal with me when I have a "Fit" (She'll be traveling too).

I know it sounds like a stupid question. I'm going to be travelling and stay in that country for about 2 weeks so I wanted to use a big luggage bag. The only one I found in my house that was big was my grandmas old luggage bag. It's made out of fabric(not leather). It's stiff. I'm used to luggage bags with wheels and a handle. The luggage bag only has a handle at the top and on the side is a strap that clips onto the bag. What's the strap for and how do I pull it? Do I have to carry it from the strap on top?? It sounds stupid but I have never seen a luggage bag like that before.

This is a big fashion risk: THE MEN BAG! Purse, messenger bag, tote, whatever. Now my question is, exactly what can men get away with? In the naughties,...well..in the last decade or two it became "okay" for men to be seen wearing these big heavy messenger bags, computer bags,...luggage bags...but anything as a fashion statement, or out and about was still very IFFY, and only those big clunky bags you can get away with.
However louis vuitton, and many other designers designed bags for men, for quite some time.
They became fashionable to a degree, even though at first ...it was still very "G@Y" to do so.
Even now, it's still g@y, in many areas. But yet, the men bags have still come a far way.
The thing is, I myself am into fashion to a degree, and I'm lucky enough to live in the NYC area, I know that in media centered places things are more tolerated, fashion types of things.
SO as far as the man bag is concerned, what's okay, and what's totally a no no.
As far as I'm concerned...men wearing women bags that are OBVIOUSLY for women,....is obviously a no no unless you're trying to look like a woman yourself.
But I'm assuming that as long as it LOOKS like it's made for a man,..then it's okay?
Also, what SIZES are okay? For men, it's still again, so strict....only the average sized bag, somewhere int he "medium size" section is okay. TOO large is G@Y, too small is G@Y...
im so frustrated with all this bs, that im about to just wear whatever bag I want any size I darn well please!
I'm not trying to look like a woman, but bags DO help and can look pretty cool with the right outfit, u can also throw ur junk in there. cell phone, miscellaneous items, sunblock, i dont know wahtever u have on you. Yes, MEN have these things too. Why do people tink that men just go around looking/acting like a total hobo, while women get all the fun and perks of looking like primadonnas?

I recently got a small perlina bag for myself, it's brown leather and expensive, and the seller said well it can be a man bag or a women bag, it looks very unisex, but the one thing that sucks about it, it's that is SMALL.
It's like 7 inches across 8 down...its a small bag, like a satchel or something...i dont know, but it has a very long shoulder strap so its like a small messenger bag.
i like bags though. i have alot, and thtye're either ONLY for men, or at the very best, unisex, but still
i must ask you fashion people, what's okay and not.
i just still dont want to go out there and look like a total freak.
as much as i want to rebel, i still want to do it tastefully!

I just flew home from an international flight and apon picking up my luggage in New York for customs inspections I noticed my brand new bag was ripped (the handles were torn down aprox 6 inches . In addition, this bag was marked as "handle with care, fragile" . It certainly was not handled with care. Since I was rushed to catch a flight (due to delta's delay.) I had to run across the airport to catch my connecting flight home after customs inspection I was told by Delta Airlines to file a claim when I got to Oakland CA airport. I attempted to do so , but my luggage never made it on my airplain. The lady at the counter said 1. She could not open a claim unless she saw the bag . 2. Delta does not cover handles (although it was ripped - not at the seam.) 3. She said and I quote " The bag was not leather and you should not expect items that are not leather to make it! " . She was incredibly rude and told me that once my bags are delivered (as they were not on the flight) I would need to drive them back to the airport for inspection. Meanwhile I have not even recieved my bags . I have my husbands meds in the suitcase, and my work clothes . How can Delta Justify not compensating me in any way ? I have to jump through hoops to 1. Get my doc to prescribe meds 2. I now have to pay for the bag to be repaired due to no fault of my own . 3. I do not have my work clothes and I will need to figure something out . What can I do ? Do I have any rights ? Please help.

I've seen a lot of people with this bag, in many colors and it loks like an everyday bag. Perfect for me. It is made of nylon i believe.. the handles and closure flap is made of brown leather. I've seen it in various sizes from totes to handbags. i asked my friend and she said it is called a Burton but when i googled it i don't see any bag like that all i see are luggages.

It is very noteworthy of you to answer any questions of the general public.
Plz let me explain my cae in detail, so as to give a fair picture and know my rights and responsibilities.
I was a student in Toronto, Canada, and my visa was expiring on July 30th, 2008. I left the country on July 3rd, but before leaving, I was gullible enough to meet some guys who offered me to make a quick buck.
They made me open a business bank account in a bank, and said they needed to transfer some funds in that account, and they will give me a cut if I withdraw the money for them. After a week of opening the account, a whoppin sum of 50,000$ was deposited online into my account from someone from Alberta. They made me withdraw the amounts in various drafts, and made me change the drafts for cash, and gave me 5000$ as my commission. I didnt realise this then that this could be a fraudulent transfer, and suspected the whole fish market, when my account with bank was blocked.
When I was leaving for Toronto International Airport on July 3rd, one of the guys offered to drop me to the airport, as I was carrying heavy luggage. During the ride, through some slight, he got hold of my small leather bag, which had my Canadian drivers licence, and some cheques. I realised this when I had already boarded the plane to India.
I thought they might not be able to do anything, as an ID without the actual person might not be of any use. But to be on the safer side, I called the Toronto Police to file a lost/stolen report. An officer from the Headquarters called me back on my India number, and took down the report.
Now, sometime in August 2008, my roommate from Toronto called me saying the police are looking for me, and the officer even pointed a gun at my roommate, though I cannot vouch that the officer actually did that. The officer told my roommate that he had a warrant against me.
After numerous calls, I found out that its the York Regional Police who have a case against me. I got hold of Officer, who is the lead investigator. I e-mailed him a statement, though not mentioning the online deposit thing. He said a dealership has initiated charges against me , cos someone has picked up a car, somewhere around July 18th, 2008, (I can prove I was not even in the country during that time), and the car is nowhere to be found. This amounts to theft, though Officer Tanczos claimed he hasnt issued a warrant against me. The perpetrators have also given cheques from my account, by somehow forging my signature, and the cheques have been bounced. I reasoned with the Officer but he says he cant help me any more, as I am not in Canada. He revealed that the Toronto Police 43 Division has a warrant for me, and this station looks after the region where the bank branch is located.
These guys have played havoc with my ID, as they have bought some Fido SIMs with my ID, and then called in Customer Care, and changed the details, probably such as DOB or address, so as to prevent me from getting access to those numbers, to deactivate the service.
I have already spent about 2000$ in getting through this case, but to no avail. I transferred some 1500$ to a lawyer from Montreal, and all he did was to request a RCMP certificate. I havent received the report as yet, and the RCMP website mentions that it might take more than 120 days to receive a report which "hits" a criminal file.
Plz help me out of this case, as I want to come back to Canada, through Permanent residency. Besides these 2 things, I have an immaculate record, in India, and in the 3 years I spent in canada, as well.
Do you frankly think I stand a chance to come into the country again? Plz let me know what should I do. I cant spend any money right away, but plz give me a friendly advice, and let me know the litigation involved. Atleast tell me, what punishments are involved in the bank transfer issue, and is there any way to get out of it, and start life with a clean slate.
