I finally purchased the Travelon leather expandable messenger-style bag after owning and wearing out no less than three black microfiber versions of the same purse since Dec 2006. I simply LOVE THIS PURSE! The utility of the style is unquestioned in my mind, but the additional elegance of the leather makes me feel better about taking it along for more dressy occasions. I have plenty of dress purses to use for very nice occasions, but this is the purse that I use everyday. I have never left it anywhere because I'm usually wearing it. And I have rarely found that I need more purse space than this contains. When I need to haul more stuff (books to read while waiting, extra shoes, etc.) I take along another bag to leave in the car, thus leaving my purse for essentials. Everything is well organized inside which gives me confidence that I won't misplace things like credit cards, cell phone, coin purse, sunglasses, checkbook, etc. I most strongly recommend this product! It may take a bit of getting used to wear a purse all the time instead of slinging it over your shoulder, but the two hands it leaves free and the extra security are more than worth it. If you are like me, you probably have about a dozen purses. This is the one you'll end up using every day. Try it with confidence!

This is a great bag with a lot of storage space. The leather is sturdy and does not look cheap like some leather. I took this bag on vacation and I was able to put a lot into it without weighing me down in the process.

Terrific bag. It's small, but carries more than you think. Used it on a trip to Italy and it worked very well.

Not as nice as I would like. More awkward to use than expected. Leather is not of good quality. Would not purchase if I had seen it first.
